India Expanding Solar Powered Traffic Lights
NEW DELHI: States are all set to solarise traffic signals in keeping with the guidelines of the national energy policy that suggest use of renewable sources of energy. While Delhi, Karnataka and parts of Andhra Pradesh have since long implemented these guidelines, others joining the league are Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Haryana.
